The Cireson Portal can utilise custom views that have been created in the SCSM Console.Â
In order to add a View from the SCSM console to the Cireson Portal, you must first promote the view from within the SCSM console.
Please Note: Anonymous Authentication must be enabled within IIS for Promote View to work.
Promote View Task
Open your SCSM console
Browse to the View you want to Promote and with the View selected, right click it and click the Promote View task:

The first time you Promote a view (or any time the portal can’t be found) you will be asked to enter the full url of your portal.Â
Enter your portal’s URL including http:// and if needed a port number and click save:
Once you have entered this URL, you will not be prompted for it again in the future.
Please Note: If you need to change this URL setting, please see KB1116 - How To: Change the Portal View Promotion URL Setting
