The Cireson Portal requires that the ServiceManager and ServiceManagement databases are located on the same SQL instance. The Cireson Portal is not supported on the same SQL instance as the Service Manager data warehouse or another SQL instance located on the same server.

The user running the install will need 'sysadmin' rights over the database for the duration of the installation, these rights are not required after the installation process has completed.
