Manage groups in Tikit to direct work to multiple channels in Teams.

How to view Groups settings

To access and manage Groups settings:

1. Open the Tikit web app at https://web.tikit.ai.

2. Once in the Tikit web app, select the settings gear in the header, then select Security.

• Hover over the labels or check out the following key section for more details.

1. New Group Add a new Group.

2. Search Search for specific Group by name, description, or member.

3. Friendly Name Group name. Select a Group’s name to edit group.

4. Description Group description.

5. Members Group member(s).

How to add a new group

To add a new Group:

1. In Settings > Groups, select + New Group to open the New Group form.

2. Enter a new Group Friendly Name and an optional Description.

3. Using the channel picker, select the channel to associate with the group. The Tikit app must be added to the Team for the channel.

4. Search for and add team members to the group. Team members must be a member of the Team’s channel.

5. Select Save to save the group.

How to edit a group

To edit an existing group:

1. In Settings > Groups, select a Group’s name to edit it.

2. Enter a Group Friendly Name and an optional Description.

3. Using the channel picker, select the channel to associate with the group. The Tikit app must be added to the Team for the channel.

4. Search for and add team members to the group. Team members must be a member of the Team’s channel.

5. Select Save to save the group.
